Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a current OR RN license, ACLS, BLS, and expertise in diagnostic and interventional hemodynamic monitoring.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Cath Lab setting
Handles a census of approximately 10 patients
Performs diagnostic and interventional hemodynamic monitoring, neuro-intervention, vascular, and structured heart procedures
Utilizes Philips imaging systems and Abbott Claris equipment
Day shifts, 4x10 hours from 7:00 to 17:30
On-call required for 1-2 weeknights and 1 weekend every 4 weeks
No floating required
Epic charting preferred
Responsibilities include performing, monitoring, and assisting with cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
Supports recovery of Cath Lab patients in SSU or PACU as needed
First-time travelers are welcome
Restricted to 7 days of requested time off (RTO)
Proof of address required for consideration

Requirements

Active OR RN license (or eligibility for temporary license at time of assignment)
Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience
Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and use of Cath Lab-specific equipment
Ability to perform conscious sedation on adult patients
Must live at least 75 miles from the facility
