Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a current OR RN license, ACLS, BLS, and expertise in diagnostic and interventional hemodynamic monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Cath Lab setting
- Handles a census of approximately 10 patients
- Performs diagnostic and interventional hemodynamic monitoring, neuro-intervention, vascular, and structured heart procedures
- Utilizes Philips imaging systems and Abbott Claris equipment
- Day shifts, 4x10 hours from 7:00 to 17:30
- On-call required for 1-2 weeknights and 1 weekend every 4 weeks
- No floating required
- Epic charting preferred
- Responsibilities include performing, monitoring, and assisting with cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Supports recovery of Cath Lab patients in SSU or PACU as needed
- First-time travelers are welcome
- Restricted to 7 days of requested time off (RTO)
- Proof of address required for consideration
Requirements
- Active OR RN license (or eligibility for temporary license at time of assignment)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and use of Cath Lab-specific equipment
- Ability to perform conscious sedation on adult patients
- Must live at least 75 miles from the facility
