Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for night shifts with at least 1 year of experience and required ARDMS and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital ultrasound/sonography department
• Cares for neonate through geriatric patients including adults, ER, ICU, OB, and portables
• PACS, Philips, Siemens, and SonoSite equipment utilized
• Night shifts, 5x8 hours, from 22:45 to 7:15
• Will consider first-time travelers
• No travel pairs or groups accepted
• Former perm staff must be separated for 1 year before returning as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto approved; no RTO during first week of orientation
• Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an ultrasound technologist
• Charge experience required
• ARDMS and BLS certifications required
• Experience with adult, ER, ICU, OB, and portable cases required
• Familiarity with Philips, Siemens, and SonoSite equipment necessary
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• License required if applicable
