Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a current CA license, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications for an acute care, Level II trauma teaching hospital assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the ICU of an acute care hospital
• Setting is a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma Center with 412 staffed beds
• Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:30 to 19:00
• Weekend shifts are required
• Travelers may be floated to any of the ICU or Telemetry units as needed
• Uses Cerner charting system
• No specific scrub color required, but camouflage and character patterns are not allowed
• Local candidates are accepted
• No on-call responsibilities
• Up to 7 days of requested time off and 1 holiday may be approved
• Team-based environment with travelers prioritized for float assignments
• Free parking available on site

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU RN experience required
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Pending license not accepted
