Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with extensive OR experience and ARRT certification for a night shift role at a large level I trauma center.

Responsibilities

• Work at a large level I trauma center with a focus on X-ray procedures
• Extensive involvement in OR and fluoroscopy cases is required
• Will float within scope to ED, inpatient, outpatient, OR, and perform portable exams as needed
• Night shifts available in either 2x12-hour or 5x12-hour blocks (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• 5/2 split schedule: 5 days on, 2 off, then 2 on, 5 off, with every other weekend required
• Uses GE and Siemens X-ray equipment
• Cannot request off during Christmas week
• All RTO requests must be made in advance, preferably during the interview process
• Travel pairs are not permitted to request the same schedule
• Two professional references required for consideration

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year hospital X-ray technologist experience required, preferably in a large-volume setting
• Extensive operating room (OR) experience required
• ARRT certification required
• Weekend work required
• Must be able to float to multiple departments within scope
• License required if applicable
• Locals accepted within a 25-mile radius
• Pending license not accepted
• First-time travelers not accepted
