Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, ARRT certification, and proficiency in Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Evening shift position working 5x8 hour shifts, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
• MRI department with 2 rooms and a daily caseload of 30-40 exams
• Handles a broad range of MRI studies for patients of various ages and demographics, including legacy implants
• No call or floating required
• Every other weekend shift required
• Procedures include imaging of extremities, abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, chest, breasts, spine, musculoskeletal, CINE, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo, and more
• Uses Philips MRI equipment, with PACS and McKesson systems
• Epic EMR used; Epic experience required
• Unit orientation consists of one week (40 hours) of training
• Position is open to first-time travelers
• Travelers who have ever been a former employee at any facility associated with SolutionHealth are not eligible
• Travelers living within 50 miles of the facility are accepted but at a local rate
• Scrubs of any type are permitted

Requirements

• ARRT certification and NH state license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent MRI experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with Philips MRI, PACS, IV starts, and MRI contrast procedures required
• Must be able to perform a wide variety of MRI studies independently
• References required for consideration
• Only AHA and Red Cross certifications are accepted
• License required if applicable
