Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for an acute care hospital, requiring SLP-CCC certification and at least 3 years of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

Position is in an acute care hospital setting
Works with patients requiring speech and language pathology interventions
Uses Cerner for electronic medical records
Performs MBSlmP procedures
Schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Requires one weekend day each week
Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and swallowing disorders
Must be able to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Must be available to work one weekend day each week

Requirements

Current SLP-CCC certification required
Minimum of 3 years of acute care experience required
Active Maryland SLP license required if applicable
Current BLS certification required
MBSlmP proficiency required
Cerner EMR experience required
