Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in an LDRP setting, requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an LDRP unit within a hospital setting
• Shifts are 6:45 pm to 7 am, three shifts per week, including possible weekends
• On-call duties may be required
• No floating required
• Patient ratios vary from 1:1 to 1:3 depending on acuity
• Epic EMR is used and previous Epic experience is required
• Provide care throughout the labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care
• Navy scrubs required
• Role includes clinical assessment, patient care planning, and implementation
• Virtual interviews are conducted
• Eligibility for former employees depends on review and approval

Requirements

• Active TX or compact state RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with Labor & Delivery or Postpartum experience
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring; STABLE is preferred but not required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required
• Flu vaccination is mandatory without exemption during flu season
• Must live at least 50 miles away; local travelers not accepted
