Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with a PA or compact license and required certifications for a rotating shift assignment.

Responsibilities

Position based in a hospital Emergency Department
Shifts rotate between 7:00-19:30, 11:00-23:30, and 19:00-7:30
Every other weekend is required
Assignment is 13 weeks in duration
No floating to other units is required
Uses Cerner EMR
Emergency Department RNs provide care for acute medical and trauma cases
Rotating shift schedule is typically adjusted every 4-6 weeks
Detailed instructions for fingerprinting, clearances, and credentialing will be provided after contract signing

Requirements

Active PA or compact RN license in hand
Current CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications are required
Trauma experience is preferred
Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility
Must complete PA fingerprinting and Childline clearances
Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing
