Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift LTAC Med/Surg assignment requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 2 years of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) on the Chronic 1 Med/Surg unit
  • Night shift schedule from 18:00 to 06:30
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Patient population includes medically complex, chronically ill adults
  • Must not be currently employed permanently at any location when applying for a travel assignment
  • Applicants must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rate
  • Staff are required to clock in and out using the electronic timekeeping system
  • Certifications cannot expire within the first 30 days of the assignment

Requirements

  • Active CO or compact state RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg or LTAC experience required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required (no RCIS or RQI certifications accepted)
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • Full US Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
