Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of recent interventional radiology experience for a day shift assignment at a Level I Trauma Center.

Responsibilities

Work in an interventional radiology unit within a short-term acute care, Level I Trauma Center
Monday through Friday schedule, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with on-call responsibilities
Expected on-call typically includes one weekend per month and weekends as needed
No block scheduling is available
Cerner EMR is used; experience with Cerner is preferred
Patient population includes acute care and trauma cases
Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
Must be able to work at least two of the three major holidays if Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years fall during the assignment; must work at least one if only two holidays fall within assignment dates
All requested time off must be declared at the time of application; additional requests are not honored
Returning employees must have a minimum of one year separation before returning as a traveler
Scrub requirements or dress code not specified
No local candidates accepted due to 100-mile radius rule

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years recent experience in interventional radiology
At least 1 completed previous travel assignment required
No first-time travelers unless possessing over 3 years of recent experience
Active, non-pending license required if applicable
Driver's license must be provided for consideration
Compliance with NLC guidelines is required, pending licenses not accepted
Vaccination status must be documented
Cerner EMR experience preferred
