Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of recent experience for a contract assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a short-term acute care hospital and Level I Trauma Center
• Primary assignment is in the Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology department
• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with required call rotation including approximately one weekend per month
• Patient population includes acute and trauma cases
• Use of Cerner EMR is preferred
• Returning travelers must have a one-year separation before being eligible for rehire
• No local candidates accepted; candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility
• All requested time off must be included at the time of consideration
• Must be willing to work two out of three major holidays if they fall within the assignment
• Candidates may be floated to similar units as needed
• Vaccination status must be provided

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in cath lab or interventional radiology is required; 3 years preferred
• Must have completed at least one previous travel assignment (first-time travelers accepted only with 3+ years of recent experience)
• Current, active state license required; pending licensure not accepted
• Compliance with NLC licensing guidelines required if applicable
• Driver’s license required for consideration
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred
