Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department assignment in Washington, requiring BLS, ACLS, and five years of ER nursing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
  • Night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) on a 3x12 schedule
  • Every other weekend required
  • Floating to other units as needed within scope
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Uses Epic EMR system
  • Block scheduling may be discussed during interview
  • First time travelers are welcome to apply
  • RNs are supported to complete required modules in the first 16 hours of orientation
  • Local candidates are accepted
  • Travel pairs are accepted

Requirements

  • Active WA or compact RN license required prior to start
  • Minimum five years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications required
  • Completion of modules during orientation is required
