Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department role with both ER and Med Surg patient care responsibilities and night shift requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work in a community hospital Emergency Department with cross-coverage for Med Surg patients
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:00
• Assignment length negotiable from 8 to 13 weeks
• Care for both Emergency Department and Med Surg patients during shifts
• Potential for blocked shift scheduling if needed
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• RNs must be able to manage a full patient load on both ER and Med Surg floors
• Two professional references required for consideration

Requirements

• Active RN license in KS or compact state required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification preferred
• At least one year of relevant nursing experience required
• Must have experience providing care in both Emergency and Med Surg settings
