Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Operating Room position in a large level 1 trauma setting, requiring strong vascular/endovascular skills and prior travel experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room of a large, level 1 trauma hospital
• Night shift, 12 hours per shift, three shifts per week from 6:45pm to 7:15am
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekend and holiday shifts required
• No block scheduling available
• Responsibilities include providing perioperative care for a range of cases, including complex vascular and endovascular procedures
• Must be able to demonstrate advanced skills and adaptability in a fast-paced trauma operating room environment
• Holiday and weekend coverage is required as dictated by the unit needs
• Candidates must submit a current resume with detailed work history and explained employment gaps
• Skills checklist completion specific to the OR specialty is required for consideration
• First time travelers will not be considered for this position

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license
• Strong experience in vascular and endovascular procedures required
• Minimum prior travel nursing experience in a large level 1 trauma facility required
• High competency ratings required in all areas of skills checklist
• Current, relevant references from supervisors or managers within the last 2 years
