Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in Oregon, requiring a current OR RN license and trauma certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Cares for patients with a wide range of medical needs including emergent, urgent, and mental health conditions
- Provides care to all ages, including pediatric critical trauma and cardiac patients
- Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with every third weekend required
- All Emergency Department staff are certified for critical cardiac and trauma care, including care for children
- Facility provides care to both walk-in and emergency transport patients
- Assignment is for 13 weeks
- Facility enforces strict adherence to all stated job requirements
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of consideration
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- Minimum of 1 year Emergency Department RN experience
- Proof of high school diploma or equivalent required
