Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a home health assignment, requiring at least 1 year of experience and AHA or ARC certification.

Responsibilities

• Home health care setting providing physical therapy services to patients in their homes
• Schedule options include 9-hour days Sunday-Wednesday or 8-hour days Monday-Friday starting at 8:00am
• Minimum 35 hours per week, with occasional weekend and holiday coverage required
• Potential to care for COVID-positive patients
• Uses EPIC for charting; EPIC experience strongly preferred
• Standard pre-employment modules must be completed prior to start and typically require 5-6 hours
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed during contract
• Travel pairs allowed but matched schedules are not guaranteed
• Mileage reimbursement offered at the current mileage rate with required documentation
• Work environment is tobacco and fragrance free
• Expect to work at least one major holiday during the assignment
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius eligible for a lower pay rate

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of recent physical therapy experience
• AHA or ARC certification required
• Ability to document using OASIS preferred but not required
• Must have two professional references from a supervisor within the past two years
• Full seven-year work history with any gaps explained
• No license violations permitted
