Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position specializing in neurosurgical and complex cases, requiring a FL or compact RN license and AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Work in the Surgery unit of a hospital
Primary patient population includes neurosurgical, complex spine, brain, pediatric neuro, and deep brain stimulation (DBS) cases
Day shifts from 06:00 to 16:30
On-call requirements include weekdays, weekends, and holidays
Work every fourth weekend on a rotation
Holiday coverage required for New Year's Day and Easter
All travelers may be required to work at a local rate if they reside within the facility's defined radius
Dress code, scrub requirements, and additional onboarding instructions will be provided prior to start
COVID vaccination is not required for this position

Requirements

Active FL or compact RN license required
Nursys verification and current license documentation required within 30 days prior to start
AHA BLS certification required
Minimum of 1 year of relevant operating room experience
Experience with neurosurgical, complex spine, brain, pediatric neuro, and DBS cases required
Must provide a valid US Social Security Number and US home address
