Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a CA RN license and on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Surgery unit of a hospital setting
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 06:30-15:00
• 5 x 8-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week
• On-call required 1-2 days per week based on experience and caseload
• Assignment is 13 weeks in length
• Primary responsibilities include providing perioperative care in the operating room
• Some call and call-back required depending on department needs
• Must be willing to work in a high-acuity surgical environment
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Assignments may include a combination of scheduled and on-call hours

Requirements

• Active and current CA RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association or Red Cross required
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience is required
• At least 3 years of overall nursing experience preferred
• Previous acute care hospital experience preferred
• Experience with DaVinci Xi robotic system preferred
