Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with an active Oregon license and BLS certification for a dynamic outpatient rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a large, well-equipped outpatient therapy department within a 25-bed critical access hospital
  • Patient populations include sports and orthopedic rehab, pediatric rehab, neuro/stroke rehab, balance/dizziness, wheelchair seating, and neck, back, and extremity conditions
  • Shift is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend requirements
  • Typical treatment sessions are 45 minutes per patient
  • Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients to restore mobility and functional independence
  • Work in a supportive team environment with professional camaraderie
  • First-time travelers will be considered
  • Facility may refuse or terminate an assignment for any reason

Requirements

  • Current, unencumbered Oregon Physical Therapy license required (license required if applicable)
  • Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent physical therapy experience
  • Ability to travel to multiple points of care as needed

I loved it the hospital was small the patients were not much to handle and people were friendly.

Cons

Someone tried to walk into my hotel room while I was sleeping and had the do not disturb sign on the door. Very creepy.
