Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with an active Oregon license and BLS certification for a dynamic outpatient rehabilitation setting.
Responsibilities
- Work in a large, well-equipped outpatient therapy department within a 25-bed critical access hospital
- Patient populations include sports and orthopedic rehab, pediatric rehab, neuro/stroke rehab, balance/dizziness, wheelchair seating, and neck, back, and extremity conditions
- Shift is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend requirements
- Typical treatment sessions are 45 minutes per patient
- Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients to restore mobility and functional independence
- Work in a supportive team environment with professional camaraderie
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Facility may refuse or terminate an assignment for any reason
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered Oregon Physical Therapy license required (license required if applicable)
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent physical therapy experience
- Ability to travel to multiple points of care as needed
