Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist for pediatric cardiac procedures with ARRT, BLS, ACLS, and fluoroscopy permit required.

Responsibilities

• Position in a pediatric cardiac catheterization lab
• Day shifts, 4x10 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Must be available to work weekends as needed
• On-call required as needed, typically 1-2 shifts per week and 1-2 weekends per month
• Uses Epic and Sensis EMR systems
• Role does not accommodate block scheduling
• Locals are not accepted for this assignment
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team in a Level 1 trauma, pediatric, teaching environment
• Free parking available for travelers
• Scrub color is blue
• RTO (requested time off) is restricted to a maximum of 6 days
• First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year Cath Lab experience; pediatric experience preferred but not required
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
• Current ACLS, BLS (AHA), ARRT R, ARRT Advanced certification, and California Fluoroscopy Permit
• Fluoroscopy permit required, but can be obtained prior to start
• License required if applicable
