Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist for pediatric cardiac procedures with ARRT, BLS, ACLS, and fluoroscopy permit required.
Responsibilities
- Position in a pediatric cardiac catheterization lab
- Day shifts, 4x10 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Must be available to work weekends as needed
- On-call required as needed, typically 1-2 shifts per week and 1-2 weekends per month
- Uses Epic and Sensis EMR systems
- Role does not accommodate block scheduling
- Locals are not accepted for this assignment
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team in a Level 1 trauma, pediatric, teaching environment
- Free parking available for travelers
- Scrub color is blue
- RTO (requested time off) is restricted to a maximum of 6 days
- First-time travelers will be considered
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year Cath Lab experience; pediatric experience preferred but not required
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
- Current ACLS, BLS (AHA), ARRT R, ARRT Advanced certification, and California Fluoroscopy Permit
- Fluoroscopy permit required, but can be obtained prior to start
- License required if applicable
