Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position requiring ACLS, BLS, and Epic experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting within a hospital
Patient ratios are currently 1:5, with a goal of 1:4
Night shifts, typically 3x12 hours (18:45-07:15); 4x12 hour shifts available upon request
Assignment length options range from 13 to 26 weeks, with flexibility by request
Unit assignment will be determined after clinical evaluation based on facility need
Floating to other units of similar acuity is required
Use of Epic charting system is required
Must be able to work as part of a team and float as needed to units of similar acuity
Longer contract lengths of up to 26 weeks can be requested
Two professional references are required for consideration

Requirements

Active RN license for VA or Compact states is required
Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are required
Recent experience working in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is required
Experience with Epic EMR is required
