Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced PCU RN with ACLS, BLS, and Meditech experience for a Level III Trauma center assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of an acute care hospital
• Level 3 Trauma center setting
• Day shifts, 4x12-hour shifts per week (7:00–19:00)
• Patient ratio of 1:4–5
• Weekend rotation required
• Floating to units within scope as needed
• Locals accepted within a 60-mile radius
• Meditech charting experience required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Any requested time off must be approved and documented prior to assignment start
• Scrub color is flexible, except for OR/L&D/Cath Lab where scrubs are provided
• Free parking is available onsite
• No block scheduling greater than three or four shifts

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent PCU RN experience with IV start proficiency
• Certifications required: ACLS and BLS
• Experience with Meditech EMR required
• Two professional references must be provided
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security Number required for consideration
• Pending licenses not accepted
