Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Resource Pool ICU/PCU position requiring large Level 1/2 facility experience and night shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Resource Pool RN role covering all ICU and PCU units in a hospital environment
• Assignment durations range from 13 to 52 weeks
• Night shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts per week, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Patient ratios are 2:1 in ICU and 5:1 in PCU
• Floating to any ICU or PCU unit may occur every 4 hours based on hospital needs
• Holiday coverage is required
• RNs will provide care in multiple critical and progressive care units as assigned by staffing office
• No holiday time off will be approved for Christmas
• All time off requests must be submitted up front for consideration
• Local traveler rules apply based on distance from the facility address as shown on driver's license
• Extension eligibility for local travelers is limited according to facility policy

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Experience working in large Level 1 or 2 trauma settings required
• Must be comfortable working in both ICU and PCU units
• Two professional references required for consideration
