Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Acute Care Float Pool role requiring a MO or compact RN license and pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Pediatric Acute Care Float Pool within a hospital setting
• Float between pediatric acute care units within the same facility and occasionally to nearby locations as needed
• Day shift position with 3x12 hour shifts, 7:00 to 19:00
• 13-week assignment
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Must be willing to float only to units with similar pediatric acuity
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Nicotine-free campus; hospital tests for nicotine use
• Flexible scheduling is preferred

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required and must be current
• At least one completed travel assignment required
• Clean Nursys report required
• Pediatric or pediatric med-surg nursing experience required
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
• Two supervisor-level references within the last 12 months required
