Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Night Shift Emergency Department position requiring a compact or OH RN license and EPIC EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital with an oncology pod
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours, 19:00 to 07:30
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• Patient ratio is 1:4
• Floating to other units is required
• Care for both oncology and emergency patient populations
• Uses EPIC EMR with prior experience required
• Involves telemetry monitoring and IV starts
• Submission of all requested time off must be made at the time of application
• Up to 7 consecutive days off may be granted at facility discretion for the contract duration
• Team environment with opportunity to work with both oncology and emergency care specialists
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required according to unit needs
• Must provide two recent professional references from a supervisor

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Current BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• Proficiency with IV starts and telemetry monitoring required
• Prior EPIC EMR experience required
• Oncology experience is preferred but not required
