Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg and Rehab assignment requiring 1+ years of recent specialty experience and a NM or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Med/Surg (Unit/Floor 2) and Rehab departments of a hospital
• Patient care assignment covers both medical-surgical and rehabilitation populations
• Night shift schedule from 18:30 to 07:00
• 13-week contract assignment
• No local travelers accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and rehabilitation patients during night shifts
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as per unit needs
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Orientation and training provided onsite

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Med/Surg or Rehab nursing
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• All required certifications must be valid through at least 30 days after contract start
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the previous 2 years
