Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Long Term Care RN for a PM shift position requiring a WI or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a skilled nursing facility providing long term care services
• Full-time PM shift from 2pm to 10pm
• Required to work every other weekend
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• Responsible for timely communication to physicians and families regarding significant changes in resident condition
• Complete resident assessments and medication administration according to the 5 Rights
• Perform wound care and assessments as needed
• Assist CNAs with resident care and respond to call lights
• Lead and direct situations as the nurse on the floor
• Accurately maintain resident records and thorough charting
• Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation promptly

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred
• At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required
