Job Description

American Traveler seeks a Physical Therapist for a busy outpatient clinic, requiring CPR certification and comfort in a high-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient physical therapy clinic setting with a high-volume caseload
• Typical patient caseload is 14-16 per 8-hour day, or 16-20 per 10-hour day
• Patient population includes post-op, non-surgical, geriatric, athletes, chronic pain, airforce tricare, vestibular rehab, and pelvic floor rehab
• Private treatment rooms are provided for all patients
• Uses Office Ally for charting
• Schedule options include 5x8s Monday-Friday (7:00a-3:30p or 8:00a-4:30p) or 4x10s Tuesday-Friday
• No home health cases
• Wide variety of cases including post-op, geriatric, athletes, chronic pain, and specialty rehab such as vestibular and pelvic floor
• Experience or interest in pelvic floor therapy is a plus
• Access to new SoftWave therapy technology and custom orthotics

• Bi-weekly skills workshops for staff development
• Locals accepted at travel rate
• No home health responsibilities

Requirements

• Current or pending CA PT license required; license required if applicable
• CPR certification required
• Preferred: 1 year of outpatient PT experience, but will consider new graduates or those from other settings
• Must be comfortable in a high-paced outpatient environment
