Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of recent home health experience for a float position providing care across multiple communities in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting covering the North Region communities including Beverly, Marblehead, Salem, and Swampscott
• Patients range in age from infancy through geriatrics with varying impairments and disabilities
• Full-time schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekend rotation required once every 6 weeks
• Travel required to patient homes as assigned
• Uses Epic for electronic medical record documentation
• Primary responsibility is providing physical therapy services to patients in their homes with physical impairments or functional limitations
• Collaboration with patients, families, physicians, and allied health professionals to identify needs and coordinate care
• Thorough and timely electronic documentation in accordance with agency policy and standards
• Local candidates must have a permanent residence at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
• Parking may not be validated and may have associated costs depending on assignment location

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required; MA conditional licenses are not accepted
• Minimum of 1 year of recent home health physical therapy experience required
• AHA-approved certifications required if applicable
• Ability to travel throughout assigned region for patient visits
• Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions accepted
