Description

Job Description

American Traveler has an opening for an experienced RN to join a skilled nursing sub-acute care team on night shifts in Wisconsin, requiring a WI or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Work in a skilled nursing facility providing sub-acute care
Night shift (noc) schedule from 1830 to 0700, totaling 36 hours per week
May be required to float to other in-patient units based on census needs
Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to care for patients
Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to policy and standards
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians and hospital policies
Participate in unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance
Apply critical thinking regarding patient safety and escalate concerns as needed

Requirements

Active WI or compact RN license required and must be current
Current BLS certification is required
Prior skilled nursing experience preferred
