Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Skilled Nursing position in Janesville, WI with a day shift schedule and active WI or compact license required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a skilled nursing facility setting
• Day shift schedule with rotation between weekday and weekend shifts
• Schedule may include one day shift per week
• May be required to float to other in-patient units as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient care
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per approved standards
• Document care in accordance with facility and state guidelines
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities
• Use clinical expertise to support patient care across units
• Utilize critical thinking for patient safety and escalation when needed

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current BLS or BCLS certification required
• Prior experience in skilled nursing or similar setting preferred
