Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 1+ year of experience and ARRT(M) certification for a 26-week clinic-based assignment.

Responsibilities

• Clinic setting focused on mammography services
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Assignment duration is 26 weeks
• Post-acute care environment
• Responsible for performing mammography procedures in a clinic setting
• Orientation provided for 12 hours at start of assignment
• Scrubs or dress code information not specified
• Assignment excludes candidates directly employed by CommonSpirit-associated facilities within the past year
• Permanent residence distance requirements may apply depending on state location

Requirements

• Active ARRT(M) certification and BLS (AHA) required
• Active CA Medical Radiographer license required; license required if applicable
• Completion of formal AMA Radiologic Technology program or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic/Mammography Technologist preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of 40 hours of structured mammography education required
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT(RTR) preferred
• Six months of outpatient environment experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, radiation safety, imaging equipment operation, and medical terminology required
• Familiarity with PACS and electronic practice management systems required
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills required
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from the last 12 months, one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
