Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Radiologic Technologist with ARRT certification, travel experience, and Epic EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a diagnostic radiology unit serving all age groups
• Work may require floating to other sites, but not more than one per day
• Schedule includes a mix of 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts based on coverage needs with a posted schedule 4 weeks in advance
• On-call work is not required but may be available
• Candidates may be assigned to different shifts based on department needs
• Candidates will perform radiologic procedures on patients of all ages and must adapt to different equipment from various vendors
• Orientation provided on a bi-weekly basis
• Block scheduling is not permitted
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• Former permanent employees of Cambridge facilities are not eligible
• First-time travelers will not be considered

Requirements

• Active ARRT certification required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Active MA license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in radiology specialty required
• Prior travel experience is required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Familiarity with operating room environments and various x-ray equipment vendors required
• Flu vaccine required during flu season
• Locals within a 50 mile radius are eligible
