Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position with at least 2 years of recent MS/Tele experience and current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification.

Responsibilities

Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital
Patient ratio is 1:6 in a mixed med/surg and telemetry setting
Pyxis medication system is used
Amrita is the documentation/EMR system used
Night shift position with three 12-hour shifts per week (18:00-06:00)
Two on-call shifts per month are required
First time travelers are accepted for this position
Scrub color is flexible and any color may be worn
Requested time off must be approved by the manager

Requirements

Active CO or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Tele experience required
Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
Experience in med/surg and cardiac telemetry settings required
