Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for 12-hour night shifts, requiring ARRT (MR) certification and strong hospital-based scanning skills.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital MRI setting and float between two clinical sites
Night shifts are 12 hours, scheduled 3 times per week with varied days
Patient population includes those with implanted devices, requiring advanced scanning proficiency
MRI equipment includes Philips Achieva, Siemens 1.5T Sola, Unity PACS, Inteview PACS, and Cerner EMR
Weekend rotation is required
No on-call required, but shifts are available for coverage during absences
Orientation includes a two-day program during the first week
Must attend a 2-day orientation at the beginning of the assignment
Facility operates on a nicotine-free policy
Holiday shifts are generally not required; holiday pay applies if the holiday falls on a scheduled shift
Team provides 24/7 MRI coverage, with optional call opportunities
New graduates are not eligible for this position

Requirements

ARRT (MR) and BLS certifications required
Minimum of 1-2 years recent MRI technologist experience in a hospital environment
At least 1 year of prior travel experience is required
Proven experience scanning on Philips Achieva equipment and with patients with implanted devices
Proficiency using Cerner EMR and PACS systems
License required if applicable
Must be nicotine free
