Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with an active GA or compact license and a minimum of 18 months recent OR experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an Ambulatory Surgery Center Main OR setting
  • Day shift position with 8-hour shifts starting in the morning
  • No call requirements for this assignment
  • Assignment length is 13 weeks
  • Returning staff must have been separated for 1 year from the health system, and 18 months if returning to the same facility
  • Time off requests are limited to 5 days unless on or near a holiday, in which case a maximum of 3 days is allowed; only one holiday request permitted
  • Several days of consecutive time off during holidays will not be approved and must be spread out
  • Candidates can only be considered for one open position at a time

Requirements

  • Active GA or compact RN license in hand
  • Minimum of 18 months recent full-time OR experience required
  • CVOR RNs must have 18 months of recent experience in a CVOR setting of similar acuity within the last 3 years
  • Strong cardiac and vascular procedure experience, including endovascular cases, required for CVOR roles
  • Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; no locals allowed
