Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) position requiring an active MI RN license and at least two years of CVOR experience.

Responsibilities

Work in the Surgical Services Operating Room (CVOR) within a hospital setting
Day shifts, four 10-hour shifts per week, 06:30-17:00
13-week contract assignment
No blocked scheduling allowed
Floating to a nearby sister hospital may be required
Leadership in coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process
Online modules must be completed onsite with a passing score prior to the start date
COVID vaccine is mandatory for employment
All pre-employment screening and documentation must be completed by firm deadline
No requests for time off will be accommodated after assignment begins without manager approval

Requirements

Active Michigan RN license required
Minimum 2 years of CVOR nursing experience
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
Current AHA BLS certification required
