Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a full-time ASU/PACU position in Maine requiring a ME or compact RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in the Ambulatory Surgery Unit and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (ASU/PACU) within a hospital setting
Day shift schedule with a weekend call rotation
13-week contract assignment
Position entails working 4 nine-hour shifts per week
Provide care to patients in ambulatory surgery and post-anesthesia recovery settings
Weekend call rotation is required
No COVID-19 vaccination requirement specified

Requirements

Active ME or compact RN license
Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Minimum of 1 year of recent ASU or PACU nursing experience required
