Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a rural critical access hospital, providing both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services.
Responsibilities
- Position located in a critical access rural hospital setting
- Majority of caseload is inpatient and swing bed rehabilitation, with additional outpatient responsibilities primarily in orthopedics and some neuro cases
- Day shift schedule from 07:30 to 18:00, 40 hours per week
- Occasional Saturday coverage may be required
- 13-week assignment
- Role includes a focus on both inpatient and outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation
- Some neuro outpatient cases may be included, depending on experience
- Must provide a scanned copy of BLS certification (both front and back of card)
- No specific minimum years of experience required for consideration
- COVID vaccination is required
- Assignment may include coverage of occasional weekend shifts
Requirements
- Current state Physical Therapist license required if applicable
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required
- License or certification verification must be dated within 30 days of assignment start
