Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with at least 2 years of experience and proficiency in Epic EMR for a day shift assignment.
Responsibilities
- Short-term acute care hospital setting
- Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer unit
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Day shifts, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- No floating required between units for this assignment
- No on-call and no weekend coverage required
- Epic EMR use required
- Scrub attire can be any color; specific scrubs will be provided for OR/Cath Lab
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live more than 50 miles from the facility
- Minimal to no time off is preferred; requests for time off must be addressed prior to placement
- All travelers are expected to float within all facilities in the state if required by the system
- Team environment in a teaching hospital setting
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer
- Current required certifications
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- License required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references from the last three years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
