Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a home health position requiring EPIC and charge experience.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting working with adult patients
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 to 17:00
• Weekend shifts are required
• Uses EPIC for documentation; experience is required
• Charge experience is required
• No local radius restrictions, locals accepted at same rate as travelers
• Responsibilities include patient assessment and physical therapy in a home health environment
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Staff must wait one year after leaving an internal contracted position before returning
• Free parking is provided with a decal issued at orientation
• Scrubs must be in any solid color with matching tops and bottoms, no logos or prints
• Timekeeping is managed via Kronos using a badge system
• All requested time off must be finalized and included prior to offer; changes will not be accepted after offer

Requirements

• Current BLS and state PT license required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of recent physical therapy experience in home health
• EPIC and charge experience required
• Two professional references from managers, supervisors, charge nurses, or directors within the last year required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required during 10/31-3/31, with medical or religious exemptions accepted
