Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a home health position requiring EPIC and charge experience.
Responsibilities
- Home health setting working with adult patients
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 to 17:00
- Weekend shifts are required
- Uses EPIC for documentation; experience is required
- Charge experience is required
- No local radius restrictions, locals accepted at same rate as travelers
- Responsibilities include patient assessment and physical therapy in a home health environment
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Staff must wait one year after leaving an internal contracted position before returning
- Free parking is provided with a decal issued at orientation
- Scrubs must be in any solid color with matching tops and bottoms, no logos or prints
- Timekeeping is managed via Kronos using a badge system
- All requested time off must be finalized and included prior to offer; changes will not be accepted after offer
Requirements
- Current BLS and state PT license required if applicable
- Minimum of 1 year of recent physical therapy experience in home health
- EPIC and charge experience required
- Two professional references from managers, supervisors, charge nurses, or directors within the last year required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required during 10/31-3/31, with medical or religious exemptions accepted
