Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT and BLS certification for a day shift role in a busy academic medical center.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an interventional radiology unit with 5 procedure rooms
  • Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Weekend call required on average every 6th weekend
  • Weekday call required, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 AM, approximately 4 weekdays per month
  • Adult patient population
  • Academic medical center setting
  • May be assigned to an emergency or relief team during facility emergency events, with an expectation to remain onsite as needed
  • Must report as assigned by unit manager in emergencies
  • Time off (RTO) must be submitted in advance and discussed during interview
  • Academic team environment with teaching and learning opportunities

Requirements

  • Current ARRT certification required
  • Current BLS certification required, AHA-approved
  • 2 years of experience in interventional radiology required
  • ACLS and ARRT VI certification preferred
  • Not accepting first-time travelers
  • Must live at least 65 miles from the facility
  • Must have a license if applicable
