Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical ICU night shift position requiring current ABLS and BLS certification and a MO or Compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) within a hospital setting
• Patient ratio is 1:2 in the MICU
• Shift is 3x12 hour nights, 19:00 to 07:30
• Floating required to adult ICU cluster as primary and Med Surg as secondary
• Expected to work every other weekend and 50% of holidays
• Cerner EMR experience is preferred but not required
• First-time travelers with strong ICU experience in large facilities or academic centers are welcome
• Travelers may reside within a 75-mile radius; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
• Holiday coverage is required for 50% of holidays during the assignment
• RTO (Requested Time Off) must be provided at time of application
• No previous employment restriction specified for this position

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in ICU
• Current certifications required: ABLS and BLS
• Must provide at least two professional references
