Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical ICU night shift position requiring current ABLS and BLS certification and a MO or Compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) within a hospital setting
- Patient ratio is 1:2 in the MICU
- Shift is 3x12 hour nights, 19:00 to 07:30
- Floating required to adult ICU cluster as primary and Med Surg as secondary
- Expected to work every other weekend and 50% of holidays
- Cerner EMR experience is preferred but not required
- First-time travelers with strong ICU experience in large facilities or academic centers are welcome
- Travelers may reside within a 75-mile radius; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
- Holiday coverage is required for 50% of holidays during the assignment
- RTO (Requested Time Off) must be provided at time of application
- No previous employment restriction specified for this position
Requirements
- Active MO or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in ICU
- Current certifications required: ABLS and BLS
- Must provide at least two professional references
