Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg position requiring a WV or compact license and strong medical-surgical background.

Responsibilities

Position located in a hospital Medical Surgical unit
Night shifts, 3x12 hours, 7:00pm-7:30am on both weekdays and weekends
Patient assignment ratios range from 1:5 to 1:7
13-week contract with possible extension
Cerner EMR is used on this unit
Scrubs are not provided and must be supplied by the RN
The unit will attempt to honor schedule requests but cannot guarantee blocked schedules
Excessive call-offs (more than 2-3 per contract) are not tolerated
References and employment verification may be required for consideration

Requirements

Active WV or compact RN license required
Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
No previous travel experience required
