Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long Term Care assignment requiring a GA or compact RN license and prior travel experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Long Term Care (LTC) nursing home environment
• Day shifts from 7:00 to 19:00 with 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Some weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
• 13-week assignment with possible extension
• Care for geriatric and long-term care patient populations
• Uses the ECS electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Provide nursing care and support to long-term care resident populations
• Minimal to no time off is permitted; any requested RTO must be included at time of consideration
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are considered, but will receive a reduced pay rate
• Holiday coverage may be required as needed

Requirements

• Active GA or compact state RN license required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum one year of LTC nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience is required
• Experience with the ECS EMR system is preferred
• Willingness to submit references and verification documents including a driver's license for radius determination
