Description

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for night shifts with ARRT and BLS certification and experience in diagnostic X-rays and fluoroscopy procedures.

Responsibilities

Hospital-based position in an acute care setting
Works with inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patient populations
Night shift schedule is 7on/7off, Thursday through Wednesday, primarily 7:30pm to 7:30am with weekend rotations
Two technologists scheduled for each night shift
Perform diagnostic X-rays, fluoroscopy studies, and surgery/C-Arm procedures
Uses Cerner Radnet for EMR and PACS Philips Enterprise for imaging
No floating required
Orientation consists of 1-2 shifts
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Scrub colors are flexible; any color is acceptable
Free parking available on site
Holiday coverage dependent on rotation and not guaranteed to be off during major holidays
Perm staff must wait at least 6 months before returning as travelers
No local candidates within a 60-mile radius will be considered

Requirements

Current ARRT and BLS certifications required
Minimum of 2 years of X-ray technologist experience required
Proficiency in diagnostic X-rays, fluoroscopy studies, and surgery/C-Arm procedures
Experience with Cerner Radnet and PACS Philips Enterprise systems preferred
License required if applicable
