Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with an active MA RN license and AHA BLS certification for a surgical services position with on-call and holiday requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Surgical Services department in a hospital setting
• Assigned to operating room with responsibilities that include call, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
• 13-week contract with 5 eight-hour day shifts per week
• Uses Epic charting for documentation
• Car is required for local transportation
• Shared housing provided; guests and pets are not allowed
• No requested time off (RTO) is permitted during the assignment
• Candidates must provide their own transportation
• Holiday coverage is required as part of the schedule
• Work attire and additional expectations will be communicated prior to assignment
• Local candidates within a 60-mile radius of Boston will be considered at a reduced pay rate

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; conditional licenses not accepted
• Current AHA BLS certification is required
• Experience in operating room nursing preferred
• Flu vaccine required with no exceptions for religious or medical reasons
• Proof of MA licensure must be provided prior to consideration
• Must be able to provide primary source verification of professional license
