Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in Michigan, requiring orthopedic, vascular, and DaVinci Xi robotic surgery expertise.

Responsibilities

Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
Case mix includes orthopedic, vascular, general, gynecology, and urology surgeries
Experience with DaVinci Xi robotic procedures is required
Flexible scheduling with either 3x12-hour (9:00 AM–9:30 PM) or 4x10-hour (11:00 AM–9:30 PM) shifts available
Call includes three overnight shifts per month and one weekend 12-hour call shift per month with a 30-minute response time
No floating required
Responsible for circulating and assisting on a variety of surgical cases
Team-oriented approach with cross-disciplinary collaboration in the perioperative environment
Must meet the 30-minute call response requirement

Requirements

Active Michigan RN license required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA required
2-3 years of OR nursing experience required
Proven experience in orthopedic, vascular (including abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, endovascular and carotid endarterectomy), and DaVinci Xi robotic procedures
Experience in general, gynecology, and urology surgeries is necessary
