Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 12-bed rehabilitation unit with Cerner EMR proficiency and a Georgia or compact license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 12-bed Med/Surg rehabilitation unit within a hospital setting
• Patients receive intensive therapy, averaging 3 hours per day
• Day shifts scheduled from 6:45a-7:15p, three 12-hour shifts per week
• No on-call requirements
• Unit is temporarily relocated due to main building renovations
• Uses Cerner EMR system
• Provide nursing care and coordinate intensive daily therapy for a diverse Med/Surg rehabilitation population
• Returning permanent staff seeking travel positions must have a 2-year break from previous employment at this facility
• First time travelers are accepted
• Scrubs required in accordance with hospital policy
• Requested time off must be submitted prior to offer; no additional requests allowed post-offer

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• No permanent residency within 50 miles of the facility
