Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pre-Operative position with 2 years of specialty experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Pre-Operative unit
Day shift 5:30am-2:00pm, Monday through Friday
13-week contract assignment
8-hour shifts, 5 shifts per week
No on-call required
Duties include providing pre-operative nursing care and monitoring patient readiness for surgery
Permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before consideration
RTO must be requested up front and cannot be changed after offer
Candidates must have all credentials complete before starting
Professional attire or scrubs required according to hospital policy

Requirements

Active GA or compact RN license
Minimum 2 years of Pre-Op experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
No local candidates within a 50-mile radius
